Tools for running an AI persona account

Almost every tool in this category is a generator that stops at the download button, and almost every one bills in credits. They differ mainly in how far past the render they go: some stop there, some add scheduling, one publishes for you, and one (ours) does the sorting and delegating in between. Work out which end of that you are short of before comparing prices.

✦01 · The situation

Why people go looking

  • The generation is working and the output has become a folder nobody can face.
  • A credit balance is deciding what gets made, rather than the other way round.
  • A second or third persona has turned a workable routine into filing.
  • Somebody else does the posting and the handoff is a stream of messages.
✦02 · How to judge

What actually
separates these

Where it stops

The single most useful question, and the one a feature list obscures. Generation, then scheduling, then publishing, then delegation are four different stopping points, and most tools pick one. Buying a second tool is normal in this category; buying two that stop in the same place is the mistake.

How it bills

Nearly everything here meters credits, which means the ceiling on a heavy month is set by what you paid. Check what one credit buys, whether unused credits roll over, and whether an expensive model costs more credits than a cheap one. Where a tool bills your own provider key instead, you carry the price risk directly and there is no markup.

What it does with a large batch

Volume is easy and rejecting is not. If you generate two hundred images a week, the thing that decides your evening is whether there is a fast way to cull them, and almost nothing in this category advertises one.

Whether more than one person can use it

Seats, roles and a queue are three different things. Seats let somebody log in, roles decide what they may touch, and a queue tells them what they owe today. Plenty of tools have the first, some have the second, and the third is rare.

Whether personas stay separate

Running several personas out of one account works until it does not. Look for isolation that the software enforces rather than a naming convention you maintain.

✦03 · The options

The list

5 options, every price read from that vendor's own pages on the date shown. Ours is first because this is our site, and it is labelled so you can weigh it accordingly.

Personifex

This is ours

Best for

Someone generating far more than they post, who has decided the bottleneck is sorting rather than making. A keyboard-first review pass to rate and cull a batch, a calendar for what survives and a queue that hands a specific post to a specific person, with compute billed to your own provider key at the provider’s own prices instead of metered in credits.

Watch out for

It does not publish to platforms, so a post still has to be put up by a person. There is no importer, no free trial, and none of the voice cloning, inbox or automated replies that the broader tools here carry. If your problem is making the content rather than handling it afterwards, this is the wrong tool on this page.

Premium

Pro
$99/mo

Best for

Someone who wants one subscription to carry a post all the way to the platform. It is the only option here that advertises direct publishing to Instagram, YouTube and X, and it adds a calendar, real seats, a unified inbox and automated comment replies on top of the generation.

Watch out for

Credit-metered per tier, so a heavy month either stops or costs more. Its pages do not mention a batch review step or an assignment queue, so a large pile of output is still yours to work through.

“AI-native creative suite”, in its own words

Best for

Someone whose deciding factor is what the renders look like. Over fifty models including one of its own, and the only option here advertising SSO, SAML and role-based access, on an enterprise plan.

Watch out for

Its pricing page renders client-side and could not be read first-party, so no prices for it appear anywhere on this site. It also advertises no calendar, no publishing, no review step and no queue, so everything after the render is somewhere else.

Influencer Studio

“One platform to seamlessly create video, audio, and images using the world’s most powerful AI models”, in its own words

Credit-metered, with credits rolling over up to three times the monthly allowance, plus pay-as-you-go credits at $0.008 each
Creative
$49/mo
7,000 credits, or $40.83 a month billed annually
Advanced
$99/mo
15,000 credits, or $82.50 a month billed annually
Pro
$199/mo
35,000 credits, or $165.83 a month billed annually

Best for

Someone who wants generation and distribution from one subscription and is happy to pay per output. It advertises social posting and scheduling alongside the generation, and credits roll over, which softens the usual problem of a quiet month being wasted.

Watch out for

The headline prices are the annual rate. Paying monthly is roughly twenty percent more, which is easy to miss on a page that shows the discounted figure first. Its pricing page also names team collaboration without saying how many seats you get.

The Influencer AI

“Simple, Transparent Pricing”, in its own words

Credit-metered, priced per output: one credit per photo, one or two per second of video
Starter
$19/mo
100 credits, 1 custom influencer a month, 5 second videos
Creator
$39/mo
250 credits, 3 a month, 10 second videos
Professional
$99/mo
700 credits, 8 a month, 15 second videos
Enterprise
$199/mo
1,500 credits, 16 a month

Best for

Someone who wants the cheapest honest way to find out whether a consistent AI persona works for them at all. The entry tier is the lowest on this page and the credit maths is spelled out per output rather than hidden behind a bundle.

Watch out for

It is generation and nothing else. Its pricing page mentions no calendar, no scheduling, no publishing, no team seats and no review step, so everything after the render is still yours to organise. The per-influencer monthly limits also bind sooner than the credit count if you run several personas.

✦04 · Recommendations

If this is you, pick this

You want the tool to actually publish the post

Postcrest. It is the only option on this page that advertises direct publishing to Instagram, YouTube and X. We do not do this, and no amount of scheduling substitutes for it.

Model range and render quality are the deciding factor

Higgsfield. Over fifty models plus one of its own, and the enterprise access controls nothing else here matches. If the images are not good enough yet, that is a generation problem and this is a generation tool.

You are testing whether this works at all

The Influencer AI. The cheapest entry tier here, with the credit maths stated per output. Spend twenty dollars finding out before spending more.

You generate far more than you post

Personifex. The review pass, the calendar and the assignment queue are the part nothing else on this page advertises, and they are the part that costs you evenings once volume is real.

You are running one persona and posting twice a week

None of them, yet. A spreadsheet and whichever generator you already like will do. Every tool here is solving a problem of scale, and paying for one before you have that problem is just a subscription.

✦05 · Limits

What we do not do

On every comparison page here, including the ones where it is least convenient.

  • Personifex does not post for you. It schedules, assigns and tracks, and a person publishes from the phone. Every tool on this page that publishes directly is ahead of us there, and we say so rather than leave you to find out.
  • There is no importer. Nothing you have elsewhere moves across automatically, so a switch means starting the next batch here rather than migrating the last one.
  • There is no free trial. The closest thing on offer is a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, and plans are self-serve and cancel in one click.

Personifex does not resell compute. You bring your own WaveSpeed key for images and video, and your own OpenRouter key for the writing features, so the provider bills you directly at its own prices and we add no markup. The subscription is a flat fee for the workflow around it.

✦06 · Questions

Common questions

Why does almost everything here bill in credits?

Because it is a good model to sell. A credit is a unit the seller defines, so both the price per credit and the credits per generation can move without the underlying compute cost being visible to you. The alternative is bringing your own provider key, where the model provider bills you directly at its own prices and the tool charges a flat fee for the software.

Which of these publishes to Instagram?

Of the tools verified here, Postcrest advertises direct publishing to Instagram, YouTube and X, and Influencer Studio advertises social posting and scheduling. Personifex does not publish at all, and Higgsfield does not advertise publishing anywhere. Direct publishing needs a reviewed platform app tied to a registered company, which is why several tools in this category stop short of it.

How were these prices checked?

Each one was read from that vendor’s own pricing page, with the date shown next to it. Nothing here comes from a review site or a comparison blog, which matters more than usual in this category: several of the highest-ranking roundups for these queries are published by tools that appear in their own rankings. Where a price could not be read first-party it is left off entirely.

Is this list biased?

Obviously, since we make one of the things on it, and our own entry is marked. What we can do is show the workings: every price is sourced and dated, our own row carries the same honest caveat as the others, and three of the five recommendations below send you somewhere that is not us.
