What else you
could be using
Most of these tools are good at something we are not, and two of them do a thing we deliberately do not do at all. Each page says where the other option is the better call before it says anything else, because that is the half you actually check.
Start with the shortlist
Several options in one place, with what to judge them on before the list rather than after it.

Postcrest
The closest functional overlap: characters, a calendar, team seats and direct publishing, billed in credits.
Higgsfield
A generation engine rather than a workflow tool. The honest answer here is usually to keep it.
credit-based generators
Not one product: the billing model nearly every tool in this category uses, and the complaint that comes with it.
spreadsheets and folders
The actual incumbent. A sheet, a Notion page, a Discord thread and a folder of PNGs, held together by memory.
Two of them, head to head
Comparisons where neither product is ours. Useful mostly for what they reveal about the shape of the category.
What we do not do
Stated once here and repeated on every comparison page, so it cannot be quietly left off the ones where it is least convenient.
- Personifex does not post for you. It schedules, assigns and tracks, and a person publishes from the phone. Every tool on this page that publishes directly is ahead of us there, and we say so rather than leave you to find out.
- There is no importer. Nothing you have elsewhere moves across automatically, so a switch means starting the next batch here rather than migrating the last one.
- There is no free trial. The closest thing on offer is a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, and plans are self-serve and cancel in one click.
Personifex does not resell compute. You bring your own WaveSpeed key for images and video, and your own OpenRouter key for the writing features, so the provider bills you directly at its own prices and we add no markup. The subscription is a flat fee for the workflow around it.
How these were written
Every fact about another product is read from that product's own pages, never from a review site or a comparison blog, and the page shows the URL and the date it was read. Where a price could not be read first-party it is left off entirely rather than repeated from somewhere else, and the page says so.
The side-by-side pages do carry a comparison table, and its third column says what the other tool advertises, not what it has. We have not signed up for these products, so “not advertised” means we read the pages listed on that page and did not find it mentioned. That is weaker than saying the software cannot do it, and it is the accurate version. Nothing is ever marked with a cross.
There are no testimonials and no quotes from people who switched, because there are no customers yet. When there are, they will be real ones.
