Ocoya alternatives

Ocoya bundles scheduling, an inbox, a design studio and AI credits into one subscription. Most people leaving it want one of those parts done better or cheaper, so name the part first. If it is posting, a per-channel scheduler costs a fraction. If it is the AI content itself, look at tools built to make it.

✦01 · The situation

Why people go looking

  • Most of the bill pays for features that go unused, and only the scheduling matters.
  • The shared AI credit allowance runs out before the month does.
  • The posts need far more images or video than a post composer is built to make.
  • Ads, not organic posts, are the job.
✦02 · How to judge

What actually
separates these

Which part of Ocoya you actually use

Ocoya is several tools in one: a scheduler, a social inbox, a design studio, automations and an AI writer. Replacing all of it is rarely the goal. Find the one part that matters, because the cheapest good answer for each part is a different product.

How it bills

Ocoya shares one pool of AI credits across captions, images and automations. Schedulers here charge per channel or per account with no credits, ad tools meter credits per generation, and one option bills compute to your own provider key. Each shape suits a different volume.

Whether it publishes for you

Ocoya publishes to 21 networks. The two schedulers below publish to a dozen or more, and one option does not publish at all. If a person is not going to post by hand, filter on this before anything else.

Where the content comes from

A scheduler needs content you already have. If the hard part is making enough good images or video, a scheduler alone will not fix it, and pairing one with a generator often beats any single suite.

✦03 · The options

The list

5 options, every price read from that vendor's own pages on the date shown. Ours is first because this is our site, and it is labelled so you can weigh it accordingly.

Personifex

This is ours

Best for

Someone generating far more than they post, who has decided the bottleneck is sorting rather than making. A keyboard-first review pass to rate and cull a batch, a calendar for what survives and a queue that hands a specific post to a specific person, with compute billed to your own provider key at the provider’s own prices instead of metered in credits.

Watch out for

It does not publish to platforms, so a post still has to be put up by a person. There is no importer, no free trial, and none of the voice cloning, inbox or automated replies that the broader tools here carry. If your problem is making the content rather than handling it afterwards, this is the wrong tool on this page.

Best for

Someone who mainly needs posts scheduled and published, cheaply. It publishes to twelve platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube Shorts and X, has a free plan, and charges per channel, so a small setup costs a few dollars a month.

Watch out for

It is a scheduler with an AI writing assistant, not an image or video generator, so the content still has to come from somewhere else. Its pricing page also states the yearly saving two different ways, so check the yearly price at checkout.

Publer

Priced by the social accounts and extra members you select, with every tenth one free
Free
$0/mo
1 user, 3 social accounts (no X), 10 scheduled posts per account
Professional
$5/mo
From $5 a month, or $4 a month billed yearly; unlimited scheduling, RSS automations
Business
$10/mo
From $10 a month, or $8 a month billed yearly; unlimited AI prompts, analytics, API and MCP

Best for

Someone who wants scheduling across a long list of networks for very little. It lists Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Telegram, Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business and WordPress, with Reels and Shorts supported and a 14-day refund on each payment.

Watch out for

Like Buffer it schedules and publishes rather than generates, so it pairs with a generator rather than replacing one. X needs a paid plan, and the price climbs with every account and member you add.

“The AI Ad Generator for Video Ads, UGC, & Image Ads”, in its own words

Credit-metered, with a monthly credit allowance per tier and a different credit cost for each content type and model
Core
$32/mo
1,300 credits, 1 brand, no auto-posting, or $24 a month billed yearly ($288 a year)
Rise
$79/mo
3,200 credits, up to 4 brands, auto-posting, or about $55 a month billed yearly ($664 a year)
Enterprise+
$249/mo
10,000 credits, unlimited brands, auto-posting, or about $212 a month billed yearly ($2,540 a year)

Best for

Someone who wants ads rather than organic posts. It turns a product link into image ads, video ads and talking-avatar videos with copy and voiceovers, and auto-posts them on its Rise plan and up.

Watch out for

Credit-metered, and it does not publish what each content type or model costs in credits, so a heavy month is hard to forecast. Auto-posting is not on the cheapest plan.

“an AI agent platform for marketing teams”, in its own words

Best for

Someone who wants more of a suite than Ocoya, not less. An AI agent called Riley plans a campaign, creates it, waits for approval, publishes and reports, on top of design and video editors, an inbox and a scheduler.

Watch out for

Its pricing page contradicted itself on the day we read it, so no Simplified prices appear on this site. Check their pricing page directly before you compare.

✦04 · Recommendations

If this is you, pick this

You only use the scheduling

Buffer or Publer. Both publish to more networks than most people use and start at about five dollars a month per channel or account, with free plans to test on. That is the cheapest honest replacement for the scheduling part.

You want the inbox, the design studio and publishing in one place

Stay on Ocoya. Publishing to 21 networks, a social inbox with AI-drafted replies and a layered design studio, in one subscription. Nothing else on this page bundles exactly that.

Ads from a product link are the job

Predis.ai. It writes the ad, makes the visuals and the voiceover, and posts it, which is a different job from scheduling content you already have.

You want an agent to run the whole loop

Simplified. Its agent plans, creates, waits for approval, publishes and reports back. If you want less hands-on work than Ocoya, not more, that is the direction.

You need far more images or video than you can make

Personifex, next to a scheduler. Up to 300 generations at once on models you pick, a fast review pass to keep the best, and compute billed to your own key at cost. It does not post, so pair it with a scheduler.

✦05 · Limits

What we do not do

On every comparison page here, including the ones where it is least convenient.

  • Personifex does not post for you. It schedules, assigns and tracks, and a person publishes from the phone. Every tool on this page that publishes directly is ahead of us there, and we say so rather than leave you to find out.
  • There is no importer. Nothing you have elsewhere moves across automatically, so a switch means starting the next batch here rather than migrating the last one.
  • There is no free trial. The closest thing on offer is a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, and plans are self-serve and cancel in one click.

Personifex does not resell compute. You bring your own WaveSpeed key for images and video, and your own OpenRouter key for the writing features, so the provider bills you directly at its own prices and we add no markup. The subscription is a flat fee for the workflow around it.

✦06 · Questions

Common questions

What is the cheapest Ocoya alternative?

For scheduling alone, Buffer and Publer, which both have free plans and paid plans from about five dollars a month per channel or account. Neither advertises AI image generation on the pages we read, so the true comparison depends on whether you use those credits.

Is Personifex an Ocoya alternative?

Only for one part of it. Ocoya runs social accounts and Personifex makes the content for them: batches of images and video, a review pass and a queue for whoever posts. It does not publish, so most people would pair it with a scheduler rather than replace Ocoya with it outright.

How were these prices checked?

Each one was read from that vendor’s own pricing page, with the date shown next to it. Where a page contradicted itself the price is left off and the page says so.
