Personifex
vs Ocoya
Ocoya runs social accounts and Personifex makes the content for them. Ocoya publishes to over twenty networks, answers DMs and comments and automates replies, and we do none of that. We run up to 300 generations at once on models you pick, then a review pass and a queue, which Ocoya does not advertise.

How to read the third column
It says what Ocoya advertises, not what it can do. We have not signed up for it, so Not advertised means we read the pages below and did not find it mentioned. That is genuinely weaker than saying the software cannot do it, and we would rather be accurate than emphatic. The Personifex column is checked against our own code.

Why each row matters
A table tells you which cells differ. It does not tell you which differences you should care about, which is usually the actual question.
How usage is billed
One credit pool for every AI feature is simple to budget, until a month of heavy image work eats the allowance the captions and automations also need. Bringing your own key keeps the subscription fixed whatever you generate, at the cost of a second bill from the provider.
Team access
Both have real seats. Theirs brings clients into the approval loop, which an agency running client accounts will want. Ours is finer-grained about what each member may do, and seats are unlimited on the top tier rather than capped.
Content calendar
Close to parity on the grid itself. Theirs suggests when to post and then posts; ours records who is going to post and whether they did.
Publishing to platforms
The biggest thing they do that we do not, and the most likely reason to pick them. Direct publishing needs a reviewed platform app tied to a registered company, which is not solved here yet.
Batch review and triage
Their review step is approval of a finished post before it publishes, which is a different job from culling two hundred generations down to the twenty worth keeping. Nothing we read advertises the second.
Assignment queue
Their inbox assigns conversation threads to teammates, which is useful and is about replies. A queue of posts a person owes today only matters when a person does the posting, which with Ocoya they mostly do not.
Inbox and comment replies
Squarely theirs. If engagement is part of the job you want a tool to carry, nothing here touches it.
Model range
Ocoya generates visuals to fill a post. We generate in volume on named models you choose, and you can look up what each one costs, because it is billed to you directly rather than as a credit.
Pick Ocoya if
- You want the tool to publish for you. Ocoya advertises direct publishing to 21 networks, including Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, YouTube Shorts and Telegram. Personifex does not post at all, and that is the biggest thing it does that we do not.
- You want a social inbox. Ocoya advertises Facebook and Instagram DMs, comments and mentions in one place, with AI-drafted replies and thread assignment. We have no inbox.
- You want a design editor. Ocoya advertises a layered design studio with templates, a brand kit, one-click resizing and video trimming. We have no editor and no templates.
- You want approvals and automations. Ocoya advertises per-post approval by email on every plan, workflows triggered by comments, DMs, RSS or new store products, and a REST API and MCP server. We have none of those.
- You want AI compute included in the price. Ocoya bundles it as credits; here you open and fund your own WaveSpeed account.
Pick Personifex if
- You need hundreds of variations of one persona or one product, not one image per post. Up to 300 generations run at once on Agency, with a WaveSpeed account past its starter tier.
- You want to choose the model per run and see what it costs before you start, rather than spend a credit whose model is not named.
- The hard part is picking the keepers out of a big batch. That keyboard-first review pass is the thing we built first.
- Somebody else posts and you want to hand them specific posts in a queue rather than describe the work in a message.
What we do not do
- Personifex does not post for you. It schedules, assigns and tracks, and a person publishes from the phone. Every tool on this page that publishes directly is ahead of us there, and we say so rather than leave you to find out.
- There is no importer. Nothing you have elsewhere moves across automatically, so a switch means starting the next batch here rather than migrating the last one.
- There is no free trial. The closest thing on offer is a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, and plans are self-serve and cancel in one click.
Personifex does not resell compute. You bring your own WaveSpeed key for images and video, and your own OpenRouter key for the writing features, so the provider bills you directly at its own prices and we add no markup. The subscription is a flat fee for the workflow around it.
Common questions
Ocoya or Personifex for an agency?
It depends on what the agency sells. If the job is running client accounts, meaning posting, approvals, the inbox and reporting, Ocoya covers far more of it and we do not publish at all. If the job is producing creative variations to test, many images and clips of one product or one face, kept or rejected fast, that is what this is built for.
How do Ocoya credits compare with bringing your own key?
Ocoya includes a fixed number of AI credits per month and spends them across captions, images and automations, so the price is predictable and the volume is capped. Here nothing is included: you pay the provider for each generation at its list price, so volume is uncapped and the bill moves with it. The calculator on this site prices any volume, so you can see which shape suits you.
Does Personifex have post approvals like Ocoya?
No. Ocoya advertises per-post approval by email on every plan, and there is no client sign-off step here. What we have is the review pass, where your own team rates every generation before it goes anywhere, and the queue, where a scheduled post is assigned to the person who will publish it.
