An Ocoya alternative
for AI persona content
Ocoya describes itself as “Social media management. Using AI.”. This page is about where that overlaps with what Personifex does, and where it does not.

Why people go looking
- Publishing is handled, and the bottleneck has moved to making enough images worth publishing.
- A credit allowance shared between captions, images and automations runs down faster than the month does.
- The work is generating many variations of one face or one product, which a post composer is not built around.
Two different jobs
Ocoya
A social media manager built around AI. It writes captions, designs posts in its own studio, fills a calendar, publishes to over twenty networks, answers DMs and comments in an inbox and runs automations, with an API and an MCP server for agents. Running the accounts is the product.
Personifex
A production pipeline for AI images and video at volume. Up to 300 generations at once on the models you pick, a keyboard-first review pass to keep the best, then a calendar and an assignment queue for whoever posts. Making the content worth posting is the product.

What we are not claiming
- We have not signed up, so everything above comes from their published pages rather than from using the product. Where their material does not mention something, this page says it is not advertised rather than saying it does not exist.
- Ocoya names no image or video model on the pages we read, so this page makes no claim about which models it runs or how its output compares.
- This page makes no claim about the terms of the Ocoya trial. On 2026-10-10 its pricing page said no credit card is needed, while its own help center said two days earlier that a card is required. Check their pricing page directly.
Stay where you are if
- You want the tool to publish for you. Ocoya advertises direct publishing to 21 networks, including Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, YouTube Shorts and Telegram. Personifex does not post at all, and that is the biggest thing it does that we do not.
- You want a social inbox. Ocoya advertises Facebook and Instagram DMs, comments and mentions in one place, with AI-drafted replies and thread assignment. We have no inbox.
- You want a design editor. Ocoya advertises a layered design studio with templates, a brand kit, one-click resizing and video trimming. We have no editor and no templates.
- You want approvals and automations. Ocoya advertises per-post approval by email on every plan, workflows triggered by comments, DMs, RSS or new store products, and a REST API and MCP server. We have none of those.
- You want AI compute included in the price. Ocoya bundles it as credits; here you open and fund your own WaveSpeed account.
Come over if
- You need hundreds of variations of one persona or one product, not one image per post. Up to 300 generations run at once on Agency, with a WaveSpeed account past its starter tier.
- You want to choose the model per run and see what it costs before you start, rather than spend a credit whose model is not named.
- The hard part is picking the keepers out of a big batch. That keyboard-first review pass is the thing we built first.
- Somebody else posts and you want to hand them specific posts in a queue rather than describe the work in a message.
What you give up
The same three things are true whichever tool you are coming from, so they are on every one of these pages rather than only the ones where they are least awkward.
- Personifex does not post for you. It schedules, assigns and tracks, and a person publishes from the phone. Every tool on this page that publishes directly is ahead of us there, and we say so rather than leave you to find out.
- There is no importer. Nothing you have elsewhere moves across automatically, so a switch means starting the next batch here rather than migrating the last one.
- There is no free trial. The closest thing on offer is a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, and plans are self-serve and cancel in one click.
Common questions
Does Personifex replace Ocoya?
Not if publishing is what you need. Ocoya runs your social accounts: it posts, answers the inbox and automates replies, and Personifex does none of that. What Personifex replaces is the part before it, making a large batch of on-brand images and video and keeping the best. Plenty of setups would run both.
Is Ocoya cheaper than Personifex?
Often, at low volume, and we would rather say so. Ocoya includes its AI as a monthly credit allowance, so one bill covers everything. Here the subscription is flat and you pay the model provider directly on your own key, so there are two bills. The gap closes as volume rises, because a credit allowance stops or costs more while compute on your own key is billed at the provider’s list price with no markup.
Can I make the images here and publish them with Ocoya?
Yes. Everything you keep here can be downloaded, and nothing about bringing your own model key ties it to us. Generate and review here, then schedule and publish in a tool that posts.

NoteThere are no customer quotes on this page because there are no customers to quote yet. Everything above is either checked against our own code or read from the other tool's own pages on the date shown.
