Krea alternatives for bulk generation

Krea is a broad creative suite with its own models, real-time generation and LoRA training, and on most plans it limits how many images and videos run at once. If volume is why you are looking, compare two numbers first: how many generations run in parallel, and what a heavy month costs. Then ask what happens to the pile once it lands.

✦01 · The situation

Why people go looking

  • Basic runs 4 images at a time and Pro runs 8; unlimited image concurrency starts on the Max plan.
  • Units on Basic, Pro and Max reset every month, and a heavy batch week can spend them early.
  • Hundreds of near-identical results land in one place, with no fast way to keep the best.
  • Somebody else posts, and the keepers have to be handed over by hand.
✦02 · How to judge

What actually
separates these

How many run at once

The number that decides how long a batch of 300 takes. Krea runs 4 or 8 images at once on Basic and Pro and unlimited from Max. Below, Midjourney runs 3 prompts at a time in Relax mode and Personifex up to 300 generations on Agency, so check the figure on the plan you would actually buy.

What a heavy month costs

Krea spends compute units by model and settings, and they reset monthly below Business. Others here meter credits, sell GPU hours or bill your own provider key. Price your real volume on each, not the entry plan, and check whether a draft model costs less than the one you finish on.

How the prompts get in

Typing prompts one at a time does not scale. Ideogram lists batch generation from its Pro plan, Midjourney turns one prompt into up to 40 jobs with repeats and permutations on Pro and Mega, ComfyUI runs whatever graph you build, and Personifex takes prompts as cards, pasted text or a text file.

What happens to 300 results

Generating is the easy half. If nothing helps you reject most of a batch quickly, the time saved by running in parallel comes back as an evening of sorting. None of the other tools here advertises a review pass for that on the pages we read.

Which of Krea’s own tools you rely on

Real-time generation, Krea Nodes and LoRA training on your own images are Krea’s. If you use them every day, a bulk tool next to Krea is usually a better answer than a replacement for it.

The list

5 options, every price read from that vendor's own pages on the date shown. Ours is first because this is our site, and it is labelled so you can weigh it accordingly.

Personifex

This is ours

Best for

Someone who needs hundreds of images or clips rather than one perfect render, and wants to keep only the best. Up to 300 generations run at once on Agency (20 on Solo, 50 on Creator), across 123 image models and 187 video models for making, editing and upscaling clips, each billed to your own WaveSpeed key at the provider’s price and shown before you start. A keyboard review pass follows: 1 to 4 to rate, Z to undo.

Watch out for

A new WaveSpeed account runs 2 tasks at a time until its first top-up, each video mode runs for one member at a time, and the calendar and queue start on Creator. There is no LoRA training, real-time canvas, node editor or video editor, no free trial, and it does not publish.

OpenArt

12,000 credits, 16 parallel generations, up to about 40 consistent characters, or $27 a seat a month billed yearly
Pro
$56/mo
24,000 credits, 32 parallel generations, up to about 80 consistent characters, or $44 a seat a month billed yearly
Wonder
$240/mo
106,000 credits, 32 parallel generations, up to about 353 consistent characters, or $175 a seat a month billed yearly

Read from openart.ai on 2026-10-28

Best for

Someone who wants a large model menu and saved characters in one studio. Its pricing page lists over 100 image, video and audio models and 8 to 32 parallel generations by plan, and its home page describes building a character from reference images, then tagging it in later generations. An MCP server and a command-line tool connect it to agents and scripts.

Watch out for

Every generation spends credits, and the pricing page counts roughly how many images or videos a plan buys rather than pricing each model. Parallel generations stop at 32 even on the top plan, and neither page we read mentions a review pass, a calendar or publishing.

Ideogram

“Ideogram is a generative media platform.”, in its own words

Priority credits each month for fast generations, unlimited slow generations on every paid plan, and credits per image set by the model and rendering settings
Plus
$20/mo
2,400 priority credits, 8 generations running or queued, or $15 a month billed yearly
Pro
$60/mo
7,500 priority credits, 32 generations running or queued, batch generation, or $42 a month billed yearly
Team
$30/mo
Per user: 3,600 priority credits and batch generation, or $20 a user a month billed yearly

Read from ideogram.ai on 2026-10-28

Best for

Someone whose images carry words: posters, ads, packaging, social graphics. Ideogram says its models are built for prompt fidelity and readable type, its Pro plan adds batch generation with 32 generations running or queued, and slow generations are unlimited on every paid plan.

Watch out for

Batch generation is not on the Plus plan, which allows 8 generations running or queued. Custom model training is marked limited even on Pro and Team, and the pricing page mentions no review pass, calendar or publishing.

Midjourney

A subscription with monthly Fast GPU hours, unlimited Relax-mode images from Standard up, and extra Fast time at $4 an hour
Basic
$10/mo
200 minutes of Fast GPU time, 3 image prompts at once, or $8 a month billed yearly
Standard
$30/mo
15 Fast GPU hours, unlimited Relax images, 3 image prompts at once, or $24 a month billed yearly
Pro
$60/mo
30 Fast GPU hours, unlimited Relax images and SD video, 12 image prompts at once in Fast or 3 in Relax, Stealth Mode, or $48 a month billed yearly
Mega
$120/mo
60 Fast GPU hours, unlimited Relax images and SD video, 12 image prompts at once in Fast or 3 in Relax, Stealth Mode, or $96 a month billed yearly

Read from docs.midjourney.com on 2026-10-28

Best for

Someone whose deciding factor is the Midjourney look. From the Standard plan up, Relax mode makes images unlimited, so volume costs time rather than money, and Pro and Mega run 12 image prompts at once in Fast mode.

Watch out for

Relax mode runs 3 prompts at a time, and Fast time is metered by the hour. Its plan comparison mentions no seats, review pass or scheduling, and it asks companies with over $1 million a year in revenue to buy Pro or Mega. It is not one of the models in Personifex.

ComfyUI

“Professional Control of Visual AI”, in its own words

Free on your own hardware. Comfy Cloud spends credits on GPU time while a workflow runs and on partner models such as Nano Banana Pro, and plan credits do not roll over
Desktop
$0/mo
Free, on your own hardware
Cloud Standard
$20/mo
Workflows up to 30 minutes each, or $16 a month billed yearly
Cloud Creator
$35/mo
Adds your own models and LoRAs, or $28 a month billed yearly
Cloud Pro
$100/mo
Workflows up to an hour each, or $80 a month billed yearly

Read from comfy.org on 2026-10-28

Best for

Someone technical who wants complete control and will build the pipeline to get it. Workflows are graphs of models and steps you design yourself, the desktop app runs free on your own hardware, and Comfy Cloud queues up to 100 workflows at once and can serve a workflow as an API.

Watch out for

It is a toolkit rather than a finished workflow: you build the graph, keep it working as models change, and sort the results yourself. Locally, speed is whatever your graphics card manages; in the cloud, credits pay for GPU time and partner models.

✦04 · Recommendations

If this is you, pick this

You use the real-time canvas, Nodes or LoRA training every day

Stay on Krea. Those are Krea’s own tools, and none of them moves with you. Keep it, and add a bulk tool next to it if volume is the gap.

You want a big model menu and saved characters in one studio

OpenArt. Over 100 image, video and audio models, 8 to 32 generations in parallel by plan, and characters you build once and reuse, on one credit balance.

Your images carry words: posters, labels, ads

Ideogram. It says its models are built for readable type, and its Pro plan adds batch generation with 32 generations running or queued.

The look is Midjourney’s and you need more of it

Midjourney. From Standard up, Relax mode makes images unlimited, and Pro and Mega run 12 image prompts at once in Fast mode.

You want to build the pipeline yourself

ComfyUI. The desktop app is free on your own hardware and runs whatever graph you build. Comfy Cloud queues up to 100 workflows at once when your machine is the bottleneck.

You need hundreds of variations and the best few picked fast

Personifex. Up to 300 generations at once on Agency, each priced at the provider’s rate on your own key before you start, then a keyboard pass to keep the best. Four Krea 2 models run here; Krea 3, real-time generation and LoRA training do not.

✦05 · Limits

What we do not do

On every comparison page here, including the ones where it is least convenient.

  • Personifex does not post for you. It schedules, assigns and tracks, and a person publishes from the phone. Every tool on this page that publishes directly is ahead of us there, and we say so rather than leave you to find out.
  • There is no importer. Nothing you have elsewhere moves across automatically, so a switch means starting the next batch here rather than migrating the last one.
  • There is no free trial. The closest thing on offer is a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, and plans are self-serve and cancel in one click.

Personifex does not resell compute. You bring your own WaveSpeed key for images and video, and your own OpenRouter key for the writing features, so the provider bills you directly at its own prices and we add no markup. The subscription is a flat fee for the workflow around it.

✦06 · Questions

Common questions

What can replace Krea for bulk generation?

It depends on the shape of the batch. OpenArt runs 8 to 32 generations in parallel by plan across over 100 models. Ideogram adds batch generation on its Pro plan. ComfyUI is free on your own hardware if you will build the pipeline. Personifex runs up to 300 at once on Agency on your own provider key, with a review pass after.

Can I run Krea’s models in Personifex?

Some of them. Four Krea 2 models (Large, Medium, Medium Turbo and Turbo) are among the text-to-image models here, billed to your own WaveSpeed key. Krea 1, Krea 3, real-time generation, Krea Nodes and LoRA training are only on Krea.

Is Personifex cheaper than Krea?

Not at low volume. Krea’s paid plans start at nine dollars a month with compute included, while Personifex charges a flat subscription and bills compute separately on your own key. The gap closes as volume rises, because Krea’s units run out and reset while compute on your own key costs the provider’s list price with no markup. The cost calculator on this site prices any volume.

How were these prices checked?

Each one was read from that vendor’s own pricing page, with the date shown next to it, and nothing here comes from a review site or a comparison blog. Krea’s own figures come from its pricing page too.
