Things that catch people out
- Despite the family name it does NOT take a width by height size string. It takes aspect_ratio plus resolution, the Nano-Banana shape. That mismatch is the most common way to get a 4xx out of this endpoint.
- Tops out at 2k. Its text-to-image sibling adds a 1.5k tier this endpoint does not have.
- Bills $0.003 extra for every input image beyond the first. Sending four references means three surcharges on every image generated, which is invisible per image and visible per month.
